Asavie and Eir team up to bring IoT to Irish firms

internet-of-thingsAsavie, an enterprise mobility management firm, and Eir Business, the telecoms provider, have launched IoT Connect, a new service that will allow Irish firms to use the Internet of things (IoT) in their own business.

Asavie says that the new service can be used by both small and large enterprises in the fields of healthcare, manufacturing, transport and more.

IoT Connect provides businesses with cellular mobile connectivity, an online self-care portal to manage their IoT assets and a choice of private or Internet based network solutions.

Speaking about the launch of the new service, Asavie chief executive, Ralph Shaw, said it meets the demand of large data transfers going on in business at the moment.
