Irish-owned IT outsourcing and cloud support company IT Alliance is to create 25 new jobs by the end of the year as it expands its project management operations.

The company said its revenues from project management services alone are on course to reach €10m this year. It already employs 50 project management staff across its divisions out of a total 500 staff.

“As confidence returns to the economy, many organisations are looking to dust down and rapidly implement ICT (information and communications technology) projects which had previously been shelved during the recession,” said Dermot Hore, head of PMO, IT Alliance Group.

“At the same time, many organisations are looking to consolidate their technology which had previously been implemented on an ad hoc, un-coordinated basis due to budget pressures during the recession. Companies of all sizes are using the opportunity to make the leap from traditional on premise software to cloud solutions such as Microsoft Office 365.”

The company said hiring will begin at Career Zoo in the Convention Centre, Dublin on 12 September.
