PM Summit, Ireland’s most diverse conference for project, programme and portfolio management professionals, will take place in the Convention Centre, Dublin, on Wednesday, 13th March. The conference will be of interest to the 52,000 current project management practitioners in Ireland and international delegates, as well as aspiring project managers.

Now in its fifth consecutive year, more than 250 delegates are expected to attend the summit. The PM Summit aims to attract a diverse group of project management professionals, creating a forum for the transfer of knowledge and exploration of new ideas.

Unlike other project management events, the PM Summit caters to all sectors of industry, from engineering and pharmaceutical, to government bodies and IT, and beyond. It is not aligned with any one institution, professional body or methodology – the tagline being inclusivity not exclusivity.

The summit will feature three keynote speakers and 15 presentations across three separate tracks. Renowned economist, David McWilliams will deliver a keynote on how the appetite for projects are tied to the health of the economy. Visually-impaired athlete and lawyer, Dr. Sinead Kane will talk about overcoming adversity to achieve personal and business growth. Space explorer, Dr. Niamh Shaw will discuss the relevance of creativity, collaboration and community in success.

Raymond Poole, CEO, PM Summit, said: “Every single organisation in Ireland utilises project management to a greater or lesser extent and it is not unique to one industry or sector. Every year we strive to include a range of speakers from a wealth of disciplines who use different methodologies to deliver results.

“The conference reflects the sectors that project management spans, with presentations on topics including diversity, Agile Transformation and the benefits of digitisation. By opening the summit up to every industry, project management professionals can come together to share their own knowledge and approaches.”

PM Summit was established in 2015, in response to the growing trend in all business sectors towards incorporating project management into their organisations. The Summit has partnered with UNICEF since its inception and this year sees Peter Power, Executive Director UNICEF Ireland, delivering the opening address.

Early-bird tickets are now available for €275 for a single ticket, €250 for packs of two or €225 for a pack of three. The early-bird offer is available until February 15th. Tickets guarantee access to three keynote presentations and 15 breakout sessions. Refreshments will be provided throughout the day and delegates will also have the opportunity to interact and network with peers.
