Logicalis, the IT solutions and managed services provider, has achieved the Cisco Global Gold Certification, and is now one of a select handful of international organisations recognised with this distinction. The achievement will enable Logicalis Ireland to double its revenues and build on its current service offering.

Logicalis was chosen because of its depth of capability in supporting Cisco technologies and services, and through its scale of delivery expertise across the globe. It is one of six Cisco partners in the world to be awarded this highest level of certification, which acknowledges the company’s end-to-end approach to solutions, services and support, as well as its highly skilled team and full commitment to adding value to its clients through innovation.

Commenting on the achievement, Andrew Baird, Managing Director of Logicalis Ireland, said: “We pride ourselves on enabling digital transformation through high-quality solutions and advanced technologies, offering clients such as AXA, RTÉ and Musgrave unrivalled expertise throughout the entire integration and implementation process. By making IT simple, we help businesses overcome challenges, fulfil strategic requirements, optimise the workforce and embrace digital change.

“Logicalis’ partnership with Cisco has been in existence for more than 20 years and this highly-regarded certification will enable us to double our revenues in the short-term and build a significant share in the Cisco business in Ireland over the next three years.

“Initially, it will facilitate the launch of our Cisco Maintenance Offering (Partner Support Service), delivered as part of Logicalis’ Common Services Platform. This ensures consistent service management practices with regional shared services delivery, based on standard core ITIL processes. Other Cisco cloud-based services will soon follow in line with our hybrid IT focus.”

Paul Kavanagh, Country Manager, Cisco Ireland, commented: “I am delighted to see Logicalis achieve Global Cisco Gold partner status. Logicalis is a truly strategic and valued partner in Ireland and this will further enhance their capabilities in helping Cisco customers digitise its businesses and organisations.”

As part of its own digital transformation journey and in order to deliver the Cisco offering for clients, Logicalis Ireland has also recently added three individuals to the team. These include Barbara Bogdanescu, Chief Technologist (Security/Cisco), Cristian Colfescu, Senior Solutions Architect, and Kieran McGovern, Networking and Security Specialist.
