Time is running out to register to attend the inaugural Sustainable Food & Beverage Manufacturing Conference & Exhibition to be held at the Motor Cycle Museum, Birmingham on Thursday, 23rd of October 2014. The theme of the event is sustainable growth for sustainable profits.

An impressive list of speakers has been assembled for the conference, which also features workshops/seminars and a comprehensive exhibition of sustainable technologies and services. The speaker line up is drawn from senior management throughout the food and drink industry who have delivered quantifiable eco results and can also offer interested parties a clear pathway to developing a sustainable manufacturing facility.

The event will bring together key stakeholders from all sectors of the food and beverage manufacturing, retail, food service and supply chain.

Sustainability is no longer an optional add-on for food manufacturers and their suppliers. Sustainability makes good business sense. It plays a key role in food and drink companies’ long-term competitiveness. Food and drink companies can play a major role in ensuring the sustainability of the food supply chain.

Indeed, the UK food and drink sector has committed to a number of targets in areas such as carbon reduction, waste reduction, water conservation, packaging reduction, supply chain optimization, energy efficiency etc. The challenge for the food and drink industry and others throughout the sector is to continue to achieve economic success whilst meeting these environmental targets.

The full Conference and Workshop/Seminar Programmes and a list of Exhibitors are detailed below.
