01-MaxolForecourt retailer Maxol is to create 80 jobs through the opening of two new service stations in Dublin.

The Mullhuddart service station on the N3, which will be Maxol’s largest ever with a €6m investment, is due to open at the end of March, with another in Donabate opening the following week.

The new permanent positions include retail supervisors, shop sales assistants, and deli sales positions.

The 2.5 acre Mulhuddart service station site will comprise a fully equipped truck stop, parking for 80+ vehicles, and a Moreish Café.

Meanwhile, Maxol Donabate in North East Dublin has seen a €2m investment and will become a two-storey facility.

Commenting on the new sites, Maxol Group General Manager Brian Donaldson said: “Maxol M3 Mulhuddart Services will be a full destination site and our new franchises will greatly enhance our existing award winning offer.

“Donabate will have exceptional first class facilities and will be a comfortable and convenient destination for the local community, or for commuters looking to break up those longer journeys.”

Maxol is an Irish oil company, part of McMullan Bros. Limited. It was founded in 1920.
