downloadBusiness advisory firm BDO has announced that they will be creating 31 jobs over the next three years to support its international network.

The expansion will add more than £1 million in salaries to the north’s economy annually.

BDO announced the need for job creation having secured a lucrative contract to provide assistance for UK and global outsourcing services.

The 31 new roles are expected to provide professional services to a range of blue chip and FTSE 500 clients that operate within the BDO International network.

43 roles have been created since the contract was secured, 12 of which have now been filled. By the end of 2018, BDO is expected to have over 200 staff on its books.

Invest NI estimates that the 43 jobs will generate over £1m annually in additional salaries having offered over £200,000 to support the recruitment of 36 of the 43 positions.

BDO Northern Ireland managing partner Peter Burnside said: “As an established local firm we are committed to investing in and developing the local marketplace, creating as many employment opportunities as we can. Through our membership of the BDO International network we have been able to secure this significant contract with the support of Invest NI.

“At BDO Northern Ireland, we provide careers, not just jobs, and this contract enables us to create up to 43 new positions that will contribute over £1million per annum to the local economy. With 12 of the roles already filled, we are continuing to recruit and greatly appreciate all the support provided by Invest NI.”
