The coffee giant is planning to break the norm at it’s new store in London. The store near Covent Garden will be a new Star Reserve store which will cater to a more discerning customer.

The store which will the first of it’s kind in Europe to sell alcohol is also offering five different exclusive beans from around the world.

However, the upgrade will also bring the price of some Star Reserve coffees up to £6.

Starbucks is also get rid of counter service in favour of roaming waiters with iPads, meaning that customers don’t have to leave their seats to order and pay for their purchases.

“I think there’s no mistaking that this store is all about the coffee but we also recognise that a lot of our customers want to come in the evening and enjoy a glass of wine or beer and a sharing platter”, Mr Iley said.
