Healthy fast food retail company Chopped announced its plans to create 90 jobs in Dublin as part of the expansion. Food company Chopped is rolling out a franchise programme which will six outlets open in the coming months.

This is in addition to the three wholly-owned premises it already operates, as well as a concession in Stephen’s Green in Dublin city centre. The four outlets currently employ 69 people

Chopped was founded in 2012, and focuses on healthy and quick meals and drinks.

“The speed at which Chopped has grown though has been phenomenal. We knew Ireland wanted a healthier option and the fact that so many people approached us looking to franchise Chopped’s really confirmed this,” commented the company’s co-founder and managing director Brian Lee.

“Franchising is the best way to maintain the growth of Chopped and it’s a fantastic endorsement of the Chopped product that we have six franchises on board already,” he added.
